Crater lake

Crater Lake is the deepest lake in the United States. Crater Lake is in southern Oregon. Crater Lake is almost 2,000 feet at it's lowest point. Crater Lake appeared after a huge volcano erupted almost 6,000 years ago. The sides of the volcano's cone were cracked. The rain and melting snow created a lake.
